Party of small government indeed...

This administration, not unlike the Reagan administation, rode into Washington on promises of reducing the size and burden of the federal government. I'm not saying that 9/11 didn't change the priorities for Shrubb, and I won't go into all the squandered good will that had the world claiming "Today, we are all Americans" on 9/12. But no problem has a bottomless pocket to pull from, and we are mortguaging our ability to confront new problems with the recklessness that this administration has demanded and our spineless Congress has allowed...
