Project Censored, a part of Sonoma State University's journalism program, has been producing this list since the mid 1970's. The program has done a fantastic job of illuminating some of the more interesting and pertinent stories that never made the news. They receive somewhere between 750 to 1000 stories each year, and here are the top 25 for 2009.
